Brevetatto Baby Carriage

This is a Brevetatto – a baby carriage made in Italy by Giordani in the 1950’s.  Was this the Bugaboo of its time?  Wonder how hot it got inside on a sunny day?  Any reader know the history behind this piece?

Regardless, for the collector, this pristine model is available at Cincinnati Modern for $2,200
